Page Track Data Privacy Policy
Overview
This application is designed specifically for first responders. The App collects and transmits device location information to a secure server operated by Page Track for operational and emergency response purposes.
Information We Collect
- Location Data: Continuous GPS location (latitude, longitude, and related telemetry).
- Account Information: Name and (optionally) phone number provided to your agency/department. Accounts are pre-assigned by your agency. Most agencies do not require a phone number, but it may be included depending on agency policy.
- Login Credentials: Usernames and passwords assigned by your agency for secure access.
We do not collect contacts, photos, or other personal content from your device.
How We Use Information
- To provide real-time location tracking for your agency's emergency response operations.
- To support incident coordination, safety, and accountability of first responders in the field.
Data Storage & Retention
- Location and account information is stored on Page Track servers for operational and historical record-keeping.
- Data is retained long-term unless your agency requests deletion.
Data Sharing
- Data is not shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any third parties outside your agency.
- Access is restricted to your agency's authorized personnel.
Security
Location data is transmitted using HTTPS encryption by default.
In limited cases where communications are denied or severely degraded (a communications-denied environment), the App may fall back to UDP transmission to maintain connectivity. UDP is less secure than HTTPS and may be more susceptible to interception. This fallback is used only in these rare cases to ensure continuity of first responder tracking. Since the App only uses location, name, and optionally phone number, the operational benefits outweigh the risks, ensuring responders can continue carrying out their mission even in critical situations.
User Accounts
Accounts are issued by your agency. You cannot create a personal account directly in the App. If you no longer require access, please contact your agency administrator.
Your Choices
Because this App is for emergency responders, location services must remain enabled for proper functionality. If you disable location services, the App will not function as intended.
Children's Privacy
This App is not intended for children under 16 and is restricted to authorized first responders only.
